Scottish Food Guide is the ethical and independent award-winning guide – professional quality assurance for the best places to eat and the finest produce in Scotland

Autumn at Whitmuir

Although the shop is not currently open to visitors, the online shop is fully functioning, with orders being sent out for delivery four days a week to Edinburgh, Midlothian and parts of the Scottish Borders.

You can buy all sorts; vegetable and fruit boxes, individually priced veggies and fruit, wine and beer, bickies and chocolate, everyday essentials, cleaning and pampering products and so much more. All organic of course! We also have a large range of vegetarian and vegan delights. Come and have a look – Shop

Keep your ears and eyes open for updates on Facebook (Facebook) and Instagram (Instagram), as we’re hoping to open the shop again at the weekends soon, we miss you all!

Unfortunately, we’re not planning on opening the cafe any time soon as we’re looking for new tenants, but there is still plenty to see and do here. Both Quercus Garden Plants (Quercus) and Junk Shop Antiques (Junk Shop Antiques) are open at the weekend with lots of lovely goodies on offer.

All orders can be made online and if you want to move to a weekly repeat order then just let us know and we’ll set you up as a Farm Supporter. More information about this can be found here Farm Supporter

As you all know, we are passionate about organic farming and produce here at Whitmuir and the benefits that buying and eating organic has for people, plants, the planet and farm animals. There’s lots of interesting and useful information about eating and buying organic produce over at Soil Association (SA) and Organic September is nearly upon us (Organic September).

So please help us spread the word, and let all of your family and friends know about us and what we do!

Keep safe and well everyone, Heather and Pete and the Whitmuir Team.
