Our Highland Hogmanay
New Year’s Eve kicks off with a Champagne reception in our Big Dutch Barn, followed by a fabulous feast showcasing the best of Scotland’s sensational seasonal larder.
We celebrate the bells to the sound of bagpipes and bring in the New Year with a bang! Our spectacular firework display set to the backdrop of Balquhidder Glen is magical.
Our legendary and World class DJ Andy Carroll will keep the dance floor alive until the early hours, one thing is for sure, Monachyle Mhor knows how to throw a party!
We will have a shuttle bus service running from Monachyle Mhor to our sister motel Mhor 84 for any of our Mhor 84 guests wanting to join the party.

WINTER WINE SAFARI
What a Great Way to Spend a Day
– 28th December –
Meet us at Mhor 84 for breakfast with a glass of something nice and then we’ll head off on a 2-mile stroll up to Creag an Tuirc for the best views in Balquhidder. With another small glass and nibble on something tasty, we’ll discover the delights of food & wine in the great outdoors. On for a further 2 miles to the shoreline of Loch Voil, and once again another pick-me-up and delicious delight to eat! After the final 2 miles we gather in the Dutch Barn, fires lit, for a hearty lunch.
