Open on Saturday!

We are delighted to have almost everyone in our team back from furlough so there are now enough of us to open both the shop and cafe again on Saturdays. The shop will be open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and the cafe from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

We sell milk!

Our gorgeous Dairy Shorthorn cows provide the most fabulous flavoursome organic milk and just now we have plenty to sell. It is pasteurised daily and comes to the farm shop by midday each day.

Because we choose not to homogenise our milk, the cream rises to the top just like in the olden days!

Buy a new 1L glass bottle from us or bring your own container to refill… delicious milk with no more plastic packaging.


With restrictions a little more relaxed, the Community are once again working in the bakery and producing a fabulous selection of breads. Country Sour, White, Wholemeal, Honeyseed and rolls are made daily and the fresh loaves are generally available from 11am Monday to Friday. Speciality breads are available on a rotation and include White Sourdough, Seed & Sour, Seeded bread, Spelt and a Rye Sourdough. Occasionally we get delicious treats such as Beetroot bread or Spinach & Cheese bread!

The team also make our hugely popular granola and muesli.

We don’t bake on Saturdays but instead bake a double batch on Fridays. Come early on Saturday morning if you’re looking for a loaf.

You are very welcome to pre-order bread, ideally with at least 24 hours’ notice please.

Fruit & Veg

‘George Cave’ joins the UK apple crop this week, with Discovery and Bramley apples still on the shelves here.

We have some fabulous corn on the cob, plums and beetroot from other UK organic growers, plus lots of kale, courgettes, chard and cucumbers grown right here in our biodynamic Loch Arthur garden.
