News from Cafe St Honore

Work has started this week on the large job of Christmas pudding making. We make a lot every year and will have a few for sale at the farmers’ market for those spiced fruit pudding lovers! There are so many ingredients in our puddings. I will always acknowledge that the fabulous recipe is adapted from that of a good friend and my old Head Chef, John Webber, when I worked at Kinnaird House in Perthshire. The recipe is a cross between a clootie dumpling and a Christmas pudding, and it is absolutely delicious.

All this talk of Christmas reminds me to tell you that we will be offering our ‘at home’ for collection on the 23rd and the 31st of December for those who are interested—see below. And keep an eye on the website for opening times and offerings during the Christmas period.
