Springtime at The Old Mill Inn

It will be eight years this April since Mark and I first took over the reins of The Old Mill. And there’s plenty more good times to come!
Pub Quiz, Six Nations, Wine and Cheese Tastings, a Soundbath in the yurt, Easter weekend Karaoke party plus our second Live Music gig at Killearn Village Hall and that’s just in the next six weeks! We are also working on Whisky tastings, the Beer Festival and more live music events with Shindig’s in Shire.
We hope to reopen The Old Mill Shop in April with an indoor seating area and we will be opening it for private hire in the evenings. We are in the process of getting together some packages for private parties and events hire. We have just completed a trial run of a Venison Butchery course and we are looking at offering further cookery, butchery or baking courses. We are keen to gauge interest and to find out what sort of things people might be interested in doing  follow THIS LINK to a survey that will help us to put together future classes
We are keen to offer a wide range of different events for local people right here in the village so come and speak to us if you have an idea for an event, or are currently hiring spaces in other villages and would like to bring your event to Killearn.
And finally, we are on the look out for new team members, particularly an experienced Assistant Manager, Chefs of all levels and Front of House and Bar staff for the summer (over 18’s only please). You can find more information HERE
