Summer nights at The Witchery are nothing short of spellbinding. As the evening light fades over Edinburgh’s historic Old Town, gather with family and friends for an unforgettable dinner by candlelight. As the evening winds down, retreat to one of The Witchery’s nine lavishly theatrical suites – where velvet, a touch of the dramatic, and a perfectly poured nightcap set the scene for a night to remember.
We are delighted to announce the opening of our Secret Garden Terrace in time for Scotland’s most vibrant season. Surrounded by greenery and ancient stone, the secluded terrace provides a tranquil escape from the city’s bustle below.
As the terrace is an intimate setting, we do have limited tables available. Book a table in our Secret Garden Restaurant and we will do our best to seat you.

Summer at Prestonfield…

Set in peaceful gardens with views of Arthur’s Seat, this historic 17th-century mansion is just minutes from the city centre. Guests can enjoy afternoon tea in the grounds whilst spotting the resident peacocks, or dine at the award-winning Rhubarb restaurant. With its mix of history, elegance and tranquil surroundings, our sister property, Prestonfield House, offers a memorable base for exploring Edinburgh in summertime.
