A Hint of Autumn

Hello from south west Scotland where there is a little hint of autumn in the air. The sunshine still feels like summer, but our hedgerows are bursting with brambles, fairy rings of mushrooms are starting to emerge in the pastures and the swallows have started to head south.

We were very pleased to be asked to provide cheese for the first episode of the new series of Saturday Morning with James Martin this week where James made a Tartiflette using Rainton Tomme, and we had a quick chat via Zoom. It was lovely to speak with him about our farming system, and it was great to see such a high profile chef speaking so enthusiastically about our approach, and about our cheese!

Book Update

You can see the front cover in the photo above.The book is now with the printer and we expect to have copies by the end of this month, and then our priority will be posting it out to everyone who has ordered it. We will be keeping the crowdfunding campaign open so that everyone who wants to pre-order a copy has an opportunity to do so.You can pre-order via the link below until 18th September 2022. After this date we will pause taking new orders until we have sent copies of the book to those who have supported the project.
