Cheery place serving top notch seafood, home baking and coffees. Oysters, scallops and crab, excellent cullen skink.

Roy Bridge
Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Award Finalist 2016, their range includes salami, chorizo, pepperoni, bresaola and smoked.

Dingwall
Highly regarded butcher, seeking out the best local produce available. They have won awards for their black pudding and Champion Haggis.

HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother loved its beauty and restored it. She adored the gardens whose produce is now used in the bistro for mouth-watering menus.

Fochabers
Speyside restaurant with Walled Garden, local meats and Scottish cheeseboard. They make their own gin and preserves. Farm shop.

Isle of Skye
Chef Patron Michael Smith's inspired cuisine has been awarded a Michellin Star. Scottish dishes with French influence and Skye produce.

Husband and wife team Guy and Juliet Grieve. Winner of 2 environmental awards, Guy has top reputation for his hand dived king scallops.

Stornoway
One of the oldest family businesses in the Western Isles. When we visited our hosts treated us to a black pudding tasting and we particularly enjoyed this one!

Inverness
Contemporary dining. Well worth a visit - sit upstairs and you can watch the chefs industriously prepare the dishes.

Outer Hebrides
Social Distillery - owned by locals for locals, creating jobs. Stunning Centre, shop and lovely 'Canteen.' Isle of Harris Gin however no whisky on sale yet...

Organic farm rearing Highland beef and Hebridean mutton. Fabulous woven yarns too on vintage weaving looms. Sustainability in spades!

Aviemore
Small batch gin, cultivating a sustainable wild juniper supply. It is 'a celebration of juniper and rosehip, two bold and fresh Highland botanicals.'

Orkney Isles

Sutherland
Old coaching inn adjacent to the ferry crossing. Seafood star of the show landed on doorstep. Food is superb and views match.
