    Contemporary restaurant oozing with charm by this picturesque village green. Craig creatively uses Aberdeenshire ingredients and has gained many plaudits. He has successfully transformed a small village pub into an award-winning restaurant and made quite a name for himself in his ‘tartan trews.’

    He has done an incredible amount to support the local community and charities close to his heart and is a highly gifted chef. Eat on the Green is a very special place: beautiful food in beautiful surroundings in the heart of Aberdeenshire. The dining room has a warm and personal ambience and there are other options too: private dining, Tasting Room and even the Chef’s Table complete with its huge flat screen live feed to the kitchen…a real winner.

    Craig says…Officially opening on 11th May 2018, ‘The Gin Garden’ welcomes gin lovers to Udny Green’s very own gin bar offering an al fresco setting for an aperitif, after-dinner drink or available to hire for private events. We have a selection of over 50 gins from local tipples to global favourites, as well as an extensive list of gin based cocktails. Taking inspiration from the garden, the bar is adorned with beautiful foilage and a shabby chic decor to create the most luxury outdoor bar space.

    Craig’s entertaining cookery demonstrations at the Royal Highland Show (pictured) are always warmly received too. Members of the top class Scotch Beef Club.
