This vibrant inn in the heart of Grandtully is the latest venture for the family at Ballintaggart. Ballintaggart has built it reputation around provenance and hospitality in their own individual way, with Feast Nights and excellent courses at their Cook School but, until now, only had a couple of delightful rooms at Ballintaggart so now they can offer accommodation to visitors both up the road at Ballintaggart and here in the village.

The Grandtully Hotel offers light and more substantial dishes from ‘morning coffee to a late dram’ in their contemporary and buzzing bar, The Tully. For informal meeting, greeting and grazing there is something delicious for everyone and will be popular all year round with locals and visitors alike.

With eight immaculately renovated and redesigned bedrooms and a 30 cover restaurant they have pulled this old inn up by the breeches and given it a new lease of life – with a minimalist contemporary feel yet retaining many original features to great effect. There is also outdoor seating when weather allows – and if you enjoyed your wine, your chutney or olives, your tablet or a loaf of their bread, they are available on sale at reception along with other goodies to take a taste memory home with you.
