Enticing array of preserves, chutneys and jellies traditionally made and delicious to taste, available from many good farm shops in Scottish Food Guide. They are very inventive with local ingredients creating for example beetroot chutney and Bramley apple with cider. A Winner of 2010 Great Taste Awards and been winning awards ever since.
Their wholegrain mustard is an absolute winner and a must for our honey roast ham (see recipe section) and the Poacher’s Pickle is always a winner in our household too! Check out their lovely new branding in the pic so you know what to look out for.
Galloway Lodge HQ is also home to a lovely coffee shop serving home-made food and baking paired with wonderful Galloway Lodge products. They serve barista prepared coffees alongside locally brewed Sulwath beers, salads, soups, fish & chips and paninis. They are also stockists of the excellent food production & cook book “Meadows: The Swedish Farmer & The Scottish Cook.”
