Stop press Nov22: Post & Pantry now have a larger deli two doors along so you can buy stationery, books, cards and all your post office requirements in one shop and a full delicatessen with enhanced cheese counter in the neighbouring store – also stocking our book “Meadows: The Swedish Farmer & The Scottish Cook.”
Aberdour’s Post Office & Delicatessen is a great addition to this pretty coastal village and on Scottish Cheese Trail too due to their lovely range of artisan cheeses and have an online shop https://www.postandpantry.shop
When our resident postmaster retired, villagers were concerned they would lose that vital service but they need not have worried as Amanda & Pamela have embraced ‘postmastery’ and combined it with a terrific delicatessen with a cornucopia of goodies: they have an amazing range of Scottish produce including Chrystal Shortbread, East Coast Cured salamis, rapeseed oils, sweet and savoury crackers, preserves and chutneys. On Tuesdays and Fridays they have deliveries of fresh baked sourdough breads and an array of pastries from Wild Hearth Bakery and on Thursdays we get in the undeniably delicious loaves and buns from Sunrise Bakehouse.
Their hand-picked prime artisan cheeses make them a welcome addition to Scottish Cheese Trail in addition to their amazing range of top notch Scottish producers from Fife and beyond. There are quirky gifts and hampers, a carefully selected range of cards and stationery; envelopes and of course stamps!
