Family business on the Isle of Arran with a range of flavoured cheddars, from Classic Island Cheddar to mouthwatering intriguing variations. Founded in 1991, the Kinniburgh family purchased the Island Cheese Company in 2003.

In 2004 they purchased Bellevue Cheese Company, also on Arran, where Calum produces Award Winning handmade Arran Blue, Arran Mist (Brie) and Camembert Cheeses.

They are well known as “Arran’s Cheese Shop” at the Home Farm Visitors Centre, a mile north of Brodick, where their range of pasteurised cows’ milk cheeses are hand dipped in different coloured waxes to differentiate the flavours, giving it its distinctive look: Chives, Lochranza Whisky, Hebridean Herb, Claret, Mustard, Smoked Garlic and Oak Smoked to name but a few. He also creates miniature deluxe cheddars, perfectly sized to fit on the local oatcakes. Also available online and through many mainland outlets. Their full range of blue and soft cheeses are also available at their attractive shop.
