Welcome to David Barnett’s fabulous restaurant in the bonnie village of Stanley just a hop from Perth where he creates modern Scottish dishes in his own inspiring style. Blasta (meaning ‘Tasty’ in Scottish Gaelic) is David and his family’s first solo venture.
Elsewhere in Stanley David also has the very popular handy Blasta Takeaway on the main street where he creates gourmet pizzas, Blasta burgers & freshly battered fish to go, all freshly prepared with no compromises to his high standards.
Born and raised in Perthshire David has returned to open his first establishment having worked in many of Scotland’s top prestigious venues along the way including Gleneagles, 63 Tay St and Martin Wishart. He travelled through Europe then became Head Chef at Torridon and latterly Exec Chef at Fonab Castle.
