Explore, taste & celebrate at Errington’s
There’s a real sense of summer arriving on the farm now. The woodland is properly green again, the outdoor tables are filling up whenever the sun appears, and preparations are well underway for the Open Farm Day on Sunday 7 June. They will be running six free farm tours throughout the day, giving people a chance to see a little more of the farm, the animals and the cheesemaking side of what we do here. Spaces are booking up quickly now, so if you have been thinking about coming along, it is probably worth getting booked in sooner rather than later – book your spot here.
Next week’s Cheese Club is also shaping up to be a particularly good one. Sweet Summer Sheep will explore the softer, creamier character of ewe’s milk cheeses at this time of year, alongside a couple of excellent seasonal dishes from the kitchen. It is always one of my favourite evenings at the Barn good cheese, good conversation and people lingering long after the tasting has finished.
Taking place on Thursday 4th June at 6pm book your spot here.
Why not try Goat Yoga? Taking place on Saturdays 30 May, 27 June, 11 July, 2pm, £21. A light-hearted outdoor class alongside our curious young goats. Suitable for all levels. Always popular so booking well in advance is advised.
On Father’s Day, Saturday 21 June they will be serving a special roast at the Barn full details to follow, but tables are already filling up, so booking is recommended.
Finally, their new Working Farm Tours are launching next week on Tuesdays at 12pm, Saturdays at 10am and are now available to book — a shorter, family-friendly experience focused on the animals, barns and milking parlour, giving visitors a chance to meet the sheep, goats and pigs and learn more about life on a working farm. There is also the chance to feed the goats, climb onto the tractor for photos, and ask plenty of questions along the way.
