Cannonball House is an iconic three-story building dating back to the 17th Century. It is bursting with character and history, nestled at the top of the Royal Mile. Cannonball House is run by renowned local Italian-Scots restaurateurs Victor and Carina Contini.
With this dining experience enjoy a delicious four-course menu showcasing Scotland’s artisan suppliers with seasonal produce from our own Kitchen Garden. Dine in a historic and warm setting located moments away from the Castle Esplanade. The award-winning team at Cannonball House, will ensure your Tattoo night is unforgettable from the moment you start your dining experience. All guests will be emailed a table time to allow for a relaxed dining experience pre the performance. This is a special, relaxed dining experience.
Monday to Saturday: 7:00pm for the 9:30pm performance
Friday 28 August and Saturdays: 3:45pm for the 6:15pm performance
Your package will include:
- A seasonal Amuse Bouche
- A four-course seasonal menu using the best Scottish ingredients, sourced from small Artisan suppliers and the Contini’s own Kitchen Garden, with with wine and tea and coffee
- A host to escort you from Cannonball House to the Castle Esplanade
- A prime location seat in the outdoor arena with exceptional views of the performance

Whilst there is no dress code for this package, we ask that you respect your host and fellow guests and dress accordingly, i.e. avoiding short trousers and sports shoes. As you are sitting in the outdoor arena for the Tattoo performance, a warm top layer or coat is recommended.
