Autumn at Connage

Autumn at Connage: new cheese, melting favourites and a little Christmas news

There is no mistaking autumn now. The leaves are turning, the evenings are drawing in and, after that lovely spell of September sunshine, we’re definitely starting to think about warming food and cosy suppers.

And at Connage, that means melting cheese season is well and truly here!

Bring on the melting cheese

As the weather cools, we’re starting to welcome back some of the wonderful Alpine cheeses that are perfect for autumn and winter. Smooth, creamy and full of flavour, they’re just the thing for Raclette, fondue, bubbling cheese on toast or simply melting over warm potatoes.

Vacherin is also due to arrive next week. Warm it until wonderfully gooey, put it in the middle of the table with crusty bread, potatoes and perhaps some charcuterie, and let everyone tuck in. Easy entertaining at its very best.

Meet The Munro

We also have something completely new for you to try.

Callum and Ben have been busy creating a new Connage cheese called The Munro, and it’s now available in the Cheese Pantry.

Do pop in and have a taste. We’d love to know what you think!

Still in the mood for ice cream?

We know the temperature has dropped, but surely there’s no wrong time for ice cream?

We’ve added Moments to our range, made by our friends at Marshfield Farm Ice Cream near Bath. There are three flavours to choose from, each a delicious chocolate-coated ice cream on a stick. Have a look at our social media for a peek.

A little Christmas heads-up…

Christmas will be here before we know it, so a quick note for those already starting to make plans.

This year we’ll be concentrating our festive efforts on welcoming you here to Connage and helping you choose your Christmas cheeses and treats in person.

The online shop will also be open for Christmas orders, with the last order date of Sunday 13 December and final deliveries on Thursday 17 December. Please be aware that delivery charges will be increasing a little this year due to rising fuel costs.

We’ll have lots more Christmas cheese, gifting and entertaining inspiration to share over the coming weeks.

Planning a 2027 wedding?

If cheese is more your thing than cake, now is a great time to start thinking about a Connage wedding cheese tower. Get in touch to chat about creating something that looks every bit as good as it tastes.

And if you’re planning a late 2026 wedding, don’t be afraid to ask. We may still be able to help!
