Sanchia their Swiss Brown Dairy Cow was Winner at 2023 Northumberland Show, winning not only her class but also interbreed Champion. Awards pictured at Great Yorkshire Show 2023.
Formerly award-winning Halloumi, Tomme & Mozzarella specialists, Kedar is now focussing on Kefir & their famously creamy milk – with a queue forming at their stall every Edinburgh Farmers Market.
Gavin & Jane’s son Johnny, tends to the herd of award-winning pedigree Swiss Brown Dairy Cows, producing high quality milk for their kefir. Pasteurised unhomogenised whole milk available – milk as it should be. !st & 2nd prizes also went to their milkshakes & milk respectively at Great Yorkshire Show 2024

The family has been involved in dairy farming here for nearly a century and the cows, all known by name, are ‘the real stars of the Kedar show.’ These cattle were bred to live in the mountains and valleys of Switzerland so I am sure they equally enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Dumfriesshire!
