Hope you’ve been enjoying the summer this year? We have come back from holidays & it has been full-on ever since. Lot’s of regular guests celebrating anniversaries or birthdays with us. We are also enjoying hosting many nationalities from far & wide. I would say that tourism is very buoyant this summer in Scotland. A lot of guests having a few days locally then heading to the Highlands. I always tell them how beautiful it is but get in a shop & buy some midge repellent as soon as you arrive. The midges have been fairly numerous at dusk in North Queensferry too. They love Ethan & I. Not so keen on Craig so he doesn’t understand our moans about keeping doors & windows closed!
