Profile
Cukie is a fabulous find: a Scandinavian micro-bakery, all hand-crafted with many locally sourced ingredients. A taste of Sweden on the southern edge of Dunfermline. Inspired by Scandi baking this delightful and accomplished couple have created a colourful hygge and a charming space.
Their artisan sourdough loaves won multiple awards at The Scottish Bread Championship, also with Silver & Bronze at the Border Union Real Bread Competition 2026. A scrumptious range is available from their shop and bakery combined – just pop in or order in advance. The same for the imaginative range of cakes, pastries and sweet treats: takeaway, sit in or order in advance. There are cinnamon buns, Swedish almond tarts, mazarin and mini loaf cakes such as lemon & blueberry, mouthwatering cookies and many more to tempt you.
Cukie Patisserie is first left on Pitreavie Way, just off the main route north/south between Rosyth and Dunfermline – about halfway between the two towns. Also two minutes from the motorway depending on where you are coming from. I suggest you pop their postcode into your phone for your first visit but it is very easy to find with masses of free parking on the doorstep which is a bonus.
You are guaranteed to become a regular visitor. Opening hours are generally 7.30am until 3.30pm Monday – Friday, with 9am – 2pm on Saturday & closed Sundays. Always worth checking but these are their regular hours.
