Situated 10 miles west of Glasgow on the shores of the Clyde, this beautifully situated Nursery & Farm shop is on the A814 between Cardross & Helensburgh. The family run estate is owned by the Montgomery family, where friendly welcoming staff assist in running the estate.
There are always wonderful seasonal treats for all the family on their weblink to check…and their Empire Biscuits are the world’s best!! They are fabulous supporters of artisan producers and their own highland beef is superb.
Ardardan Estate has diversified from simply farming the land to opening a Farm Shop with quality food / Scottish produce. The restored Walled Garden Nursery is unique and has a reputation for the plants “brought on at Ardardan”, lastly the Tearoom in the garden is already renowned for its delicious home made food and friendly atmosphere.
Fantastic range of local produce including bakery, meats, fruit and vegetables in this beautifully refurbished farm shop. They sell their own delicious highland beef and lamb and also support other award-winning producers in their chill counter.
There is an amazing cheese counter and with such a great range of fine produce it is easy to create a gift hamper with the pretty baskets on sale or buy one ready made for someone special.
With café, farm shop, woodland walk and walled garden this exceptional family run estate is a joy to visit.
