Welcome to our new member (Sept23). This is a fabulous bakehouse in every way – from its stunning waterside location, innovative buildings…through to the mastery and skills in the bakery, producing real sourdough bread and croissants for lucky Mallaig. This is certainly one to watch. Matthew specialises in long fermented sourdoughs and viennoiserie including mouth-watering specials such as lemon meringue or chocolate honeycomb cruffins, maple & pecan danish and Challah. Filled fresh ciabatta rolls are also made daily.
They also offer sourdough pizzas with a range of delicious toppings to takeaway from their adjacent roundhouse, the Crannog Pizzeria, at weekends on the quay. All well worth the trip to this growing food destination, Mallaig.
