Welcome (January 2024) to the Ayrshire Food Hub. A terrific addition to Ayrshire and easily accessible from the main road, A76, just north of Mauchline, heading towards Kilmarnock.

This Ayrshire Food Hub is overseen by a board of voluntary Charity Trustees, The Crossroads Community Hub, from the local area who care passionately about their region, their produce and the wellbeing of their community. To that end, the Ayrshire Food Hub offers a wonderful gathering point in their light and airy cafe serving local produce; their fabulous deli/fam shop bursting with the produce from the locale; a growing garden; a meeting room available for the community to use; hampers available from their online shop, and, last but not least, production kitchen facilities. All income from the Food Hub is used to meet their charitable objectives.
They run a fortnightly high tea in the cafe on Thursdays (book in advance). On regular days (open Wed-Sun), last orders for lunch @3pm, with breakfast from 9am. They serve delicious light meals, salads and desserts with home baking, all made on the premises and supporting the local producers as much as possible.
The farm shop is the perfect showcase for wonderful produce from Ayrshire, and further afield in Scotland, including local eggs, milk and artisan cheeses, butchery, breads, vegetables, preserves and much more. Quite the destination stop for foodies and families. The events space and meeting room can be hired, complete with audio…and of course excellent catering on hand too.
