  • The Loch Arthur Creamery and Farmshop is a great asset to Dumfries and Galloway. Creating a home, community, family and valued work, The Camphill Community offers ‘co-operation not competition’ to co-workers and has resulted in an organic food hub creating award-winning dairy produce, breads from their bakery; organic meats from their own and locally reared animals butchered in their butchery; a remarkable selection of organic fruit and vegetables;  cakes, pies, biscuits, dips, chutneys, and much more, produced in their Farm Shop kitchen …and even local pottery. Winner of the Artisan Food category for 2017 Scottish Rural Awards.

Offering Southwest Scotland’s finest selections of Organic foods complimented by a carefully chosen selection of crafts and produce. This lovely Café serves a delightful selection of cakes, soups and light meals produced from the finest ingredients….predominantly organic and very fresh. It has already become a much appreciated meeting place in Dumfries and Galloway, and a very welcome addition to what was already a very special place.

We had a delicious lunch of savoury handmade pies, and their rare roast beef open sandwich – along with some shopping from their carefully selected range of food and nature books!

They are an organic cheese producer…
