Sensitively restored in 2018, Edinbane Lodge is Calum & Eilidh Montgomery’s creation, gaining a fine reputation with folk travelling from far and wide to dine here. Edinbane is casual fine dining in a historic hunting lodge setting.
Chef Patron, Calum Montgomery, has been nominated as a finalist for ‘Scottish Chef of the Year’ 2023 in The Scotsman Food and Drink ‘Scran Awards’. His name can be found alongside tough competition with some of the very best chefs in the country. Calum is accomplishing great things on Skye using the best local produce and ranked to “Exceptional” rating in The Good Food Guide, the first restaurant in The Highlands to achieve such an accolade, joining only four currently in Scotland.
The Lodge offers a lunch and dinner tasting menu which evolves with the seasons and is driven by a passion for the abundant natural produce of Skye, sourcing the very finest from family and friends, working the land and sustainably harvesting the fish in the waters around Skye. Calum is also growing and foraging a range of his ingredients, with more to come as he develops his polytunnel. They also have new accommodation (2024).
