Profile
Newly opened on Dec 6th in Tolbooth St adjacent to the newly refurbished Macbeths Butchers & Game, and well worth a visit for quality, unusual gifts as well as masses of refillable dry goods. The brainchild of Fiona Gibson, Tolbooth St will now look after many of your shopping needs with the two family businesses side by side.
The new emporium aims to reduce plastic waste and help the community. Fiona intends to stock her home made artisan breads, already a popular seller at their wee shop over at Edinvale Farm. Fervently ant-plastic, Fiona offers solutions and refills to enable the folk of Forres and beyond to reduce their use of plastics too. She also intends to support local producers and crafts. There will be a range of dry goods, Scottish and organic where possible.
The building is historic in the town, The Old Market, so Fiona has retained the name and much of the architectural significance.
