Profile
Ballintaggart is an inspiring rural destination with stunning views over the Tay valley. This family have created a refined venue for a memorable food experience. Within the beautifully restored old farm buildings there is accommodation, Feast Nights and the light and spacious Cook School where Chris Rowley delivers a range of excellent courses, all with panoramic views.
The Farmhouse is newly renovated and can sleep up to 14 guests (10 adults and 4 children). The Steading can accommodate an additional 4 guests. The views are magnificent, ideal for a unique self catering rural escape. A further two bedrooms are available together in nearby East End Cottage, offering a more intimate stay. Every room is individually designed with rural luxuries including crisp white 200TC Egyptian cotton sheets, feather and down pillows and duvets, and beautifully sourced accessories.
Each kitchen provides for an indulgent getaway, along with a welcome hamper. Additional provisions and restaurant quality meals can be provided for your stay. Private dining or full catering can also be arranged. Accommodation can be booked individually, or reserved en masse for a wedding or other gatherings. The Farmhouse is available for a minimum two-night stay.
Locally sourced produce is fundamental at Ballintaggart, where hens roam contentedly in the fruit orchard and vegetable gardens. As much as possible is sourced from artisan producers or homegrown. Everything is as fresh as can be so booking essential. Finalist in Catering in Scotland Excellent Award 2018, Food Tourism Award.
Ballintaggart is a beautiful place to escape from city life for a break, whether you wish to enrol on a course or just walk, relax and stay.
