Profile
Ballintaggart is an inspiring rural destination with stunning views over the Tay valley. The family’s combined skills, with Chris’ brother Andrew on team Rowley, have created a refined venue for a memorable food experience. Within the beautifully restored old farm buildings there is fine dining, Feast Nights and the light and spacious Cook School where Chris offers a range of excellent courses; a generous steading for events and gatherings; an intimate library, perfect for smaller groups, along with a gracious lounge with panoramic views and two stylish double rooms for overnight accommodation. Chris is a natural teacher and those who have attended his courses all speak very highly of him and leave, reluctantly, feeling inspired and ready to book their next one!
Locally sourced produce is fundamental at Ballintaggart and their hens peck contentedly among the fruit orchard and the vegetable gardens are coming along a treat. As much as possible is sourced from small producers or home grown. Everything is as fresh as can be so booking essential.
