Profile
This historic 7th Generation Family Bakery is an institution with Iain Campbell at the helm both in Crieff and Comrie. Iain and his wife Ailsa are very hands on, baking the tried and tested products for which Campbells are known and loved, whilst also introducing new products to reflect today’s tastes and fashions in food. Iain has travelled widely and learned his craft wisely, so Campbells can successfully offer traditional products alongside creative sourdoughs and innovative oatcakes using multi-grains and aromatic herbs.
Here he is at the Royal Highland Show making his world class Selkirk Bannocks! Established in 1830, Campbells is one of Scotland’s oldest family bakeries. Also with Crieff shop (see separate entry) where Iain also runs his Bake School for aspiring bakers with seven generations of experience behind it, dedicated to all things bread, cakes and pastry!
Their Selkirk Bannock is on Slow Food Ark of Taste
