The third generation of the Niven family at Gloagburn have a lovely farm shop with free range eggs from their hens, local vegetables and groceries, an excellent butcher counter stocking their own and other quality assured meats, artisan cheese counter plus an extensive gift shop (for both adults & children), some clothing items and a super cafe. Ideally located on the edge of Perth, close to the motorway onwards to Stirling it is well-signposted and justly popular.
Its well-established café is a lively spot with many regulars coming for soups, sandwiches and baking. From their breakfasts, lunch menu with added soufflés, pates, salads, and afternoon teas, everything is freshly made and appetising. Booking is advisable particularly at weekends.
They have an online shop on their website and at their extensive farm shop and butchery they stock wild venison, organic lamb and chicken, Scottish beer and gin, wines, smoked meats, natural yoghurts and artisan cheese too.
There is even a farm play park for the kids including a zip wire, a ride on tractors and they can feed the ducks in the pond.
