Wilson’s Farm & Kitchen is a magical place offering fabulous dining in nature in the beautiful Borders countryside. Meander down a secret pathway to your own private dining experience where you will be served Lucy’s wonderful feast, or dine at the large table in the charmingly refurbished Cart Room. Their beautiful kitchen gardens provide many of the vegetables and cut flowers used for their events so take time to tarry.
They specialise in Field to Fork events, using their own produce – predominately their grass-fed Hereford Beef and garden produce, whether it be for a traditional Sunday Roast or an aromatic Curry! Please note all meal bookings and events must be pre-booked through their website on the link as all meals are cooked fresh to order. There’s the opportunity for fabulous bespoke events, feasts and gatherings in this magical rural environment – from small dining groups in the ‘wee bothies’ to larger celebrations.
Lucy & Robert Wilson also work closely with other artisan producers in the local area for sourcing ingredients such as pork, bread, cheese and gelato. Many events include a farm and garden walk with Farmer Robert before the meal and from June – September there is the option to dine al fresco, weather permitting.
As Wilson’s Farm & Kitchen is also a working farm and not open all the time, places at their open events need to be booked beforehand on the website. They also welcome travel trade enquiries and run many private parties in the stables and private field to fork events for discerning groups.
Cowbog Farm has been home to the Wilson family since 1938, with three generations managing and protecting the land that is set in the historic and beautiful hills and valleys of the Scottish Borders.
