Profile
Welcome to new member Burntisland Sands Hotel, a friendly neighbourhood hotel in this historic coastal village. Burntisland has a long history as a working port, with sturdy vessels still cutting through the waves to and fro as they service and guide larger ships on the Forth. Burntisland has a thriving boat club, golf course and a popular beach, not to mention a most impressive high street. Given so many high streets struggle these days, Burntisland is a hive of activity with independent shops including an award-winning butcher and a superb artisan baker. Many young families enjoy the Fife life here: some commuting to Edinburgh and many working from home.
Within this community, by the shore, is Burntisland Sands Hotel. Neat and contemporary, light and airy, it is an ideal place to eat and stay on Fife’s Coastal Path. With the nearby railway station and good road networks, Sands is a popular base for exploring all of Fife.
Jason and his family also own The Aberdour Hotel and similarities can be seen on the menus alongside the personal favourites from each chef. There’s a menu map showing the locally sourced produce with a range of dishes to choose from, some traditional favourites and others reflecting farther afield, all freshly cooked from scratch. It is a popular haunt with both locals and tourists and has lovely accommodation too.
All guests are entitled to 20% off green fees at Burntisland Golf Course and Aberdour Golf Club
