Tara uses organic ingredients to make sourdoughs, fruit breads and sweet treats, always made in small batches for maximum quality. An accomplished real bread maker, Tara recently won a Bronze Award in the Plain Authentic Sourdough category at the UK Bread Awards for her Sourdough with Orkney Beremeal. Winner of 5 Bronze Awards & a Silver Award at Scottish Bread Championship 2024
Tara consistently is recognised for her artisan loaves including Silver at the 2022 Scottish Bread Championship for her Wholemeal Tin Loaf in the Scottish Grains Category, plus 2 Silvers in the Breads Reflecting Scotland’s Food Culture Category for her Sourdough with Orkney Beremeal & Nan-e Barbari – Iranian Flatbread. 2 Silvers at Scottish Bread Championships 2019 in the sourdough category for her Pain Naturel & Chilli Cheese & Onion loaf. Bronze at Scottish Bread Championships 2021 in the classic sourdough for her 3 Grain Sourdough.
