Profile
Sarti has been a Glasgow institution these past 25 years and still going strong with a dedicated following for their authentic north Italian food. This particular one is, the newest of the three, in a converted bank from the 1890’s complete with Murano chandeliers from Venice.
At Sarti Renfield Street there are various event nights throughout the year with the most popular being ‘grappa night.’ Details regarding such events can be found on their website, As with other Sarti venues there are unique products, delicacies, wines and hampers available for sale.
It feels like stepping into a café in Torino during Slow Food Salone del Gusto! It has the unmistakable life and vibrance – and opera music – of an Italian eatery and also supports local businesses with their food sourcing, Ramsays of Carluke and The Fish People for example.
Daily specials on blackboard include west coast mussels, tagliatelle of langoustines and pork belly with sun dried tomatoes. Other venues, all serving fantastic food with a real buzz…Bath Street and Wellington Street, Glasgow.
